What is it?

‘My Kitchen Rules’ is a competitive cooking game show where teams will compete against each other to transform an ordinary home into an instant restaurant, complete with a theme and table decoration for one pressure-cooker night.

What is the format?

Each episode will focus on one team’s day of cooking and serving a three course dinner for the judges and their opposing teams. After all the teams have been assessed, the team with the lowest score will be eliminated. The final two teams will compete heat-to-head for a prize of $100,000.

Eddie Sutton, a police officer, moves back to his old neighborhood, Lincoln Heights, to start a new life and to help out his old neighborhood. It is a dangerous place to raise a family, and through the many trials the family goes through, they will soon learn that settling in is not as easy as it seemed. While Officer Sutton would struggle to cope with every day life as a street cop in Los Angeles, his kids will try to fit in at their new schools and with their new neighbors.
